Vice President Training & Impact
Pat Griffin is the Director of Quality and Client Impact for Dale Carnegie Training North Central US and serves on their Quality and Process Team. He is a Certified Trainer in all core programs offered by Dale Carnegie Training and is one of fewer than 100 trainers in the world certified by Dale Carnegie & Associates as a Master Trainer. His role on the Quality & Process Team is to design and deliver customized solutions for corporate clients, develop additional trainers for the franchise, and assist with major account retention and growth.
Pat started with Dale Carnegie Training in 2001 as an Area Manager responsible for all facets of the business in the East Central Iowa territory. He has been recognized by Dale Carnegie and Associates as a top global revenue producer and top global trainer. Pat owned and operated the Dale Carnegie Training franchise for Montana and NW Wyoming from 2008 – 2011.
A recent project of note is the Salesforce Transformation for Carnegie Consultants that was initiated in the North Central US franchise and has now been adopted by franchises across North America. Pat was instrumental in developing the content to train consultants in approaching the business from a more consultative point of view and has delivered this training for franchise operations in Minneapolis, Princeton, Long Beach, Toronto, and Baltimore.
Currently, Pat is one of fifteen select master trainers from around the world who have been asked to undertake the project of designing the process and structure that will be used to certify master trainers in the future.
Prior to joining Dale Carnegie, Pat accrued 14 years experience in engineering and manufacturing management in various roles from Design Engineer to Director of Assembly to Plant Manager. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
The main focus of Pat’s business activities is to equip people to drive measurable improvements in their organizational results. He has worked with clients in manufacturing, engineering, education and healthcare; in industrial, field and office environments to improve the effectiveness of their leaders, sales people, and team members.
Pat and his wife, Deb, reside in Carlisle, Iowa, where he enjoys woodworking and staying in touch with their four children and three grandchildren.
